Undateable

Everyone goes through a period in their lives when they are undateable, whether it is due to a lack of style, the incorrect job, or simply a lousy haircut. Most of us grow out of it, but some people require a bit more assistance than others. Here comes Danny Burton. Danny,29, is confident, beautiful, and impervious to outside viewpoints. He chooses to aid his new roommate, Justin Kearney, the owner of a failed bar and a chronic overthinker, and Justin's gang of quirky friends –Shelly, Burski, and Brett. Danny introduces the crew to his newly divorced older sister, Leslie, who quickly bonds with this group of guys since she, too, is imprisoned in her own life. The crew spends much of its time in Justin's bar, solving each other's issues over beers, and while they enjoy putting each other down, they always have each other's back. Summary of the plot: Danny Burton is a 30-ish carefree single man who has seen the majority of his pals into committed relationships. Danny looks for a new roommate after his last surviving pal Shannon moves out to marry. Justin, the proprietor of Detroit's Black Eyes Bar, is a promising prospect (frequently mispronounced "Black Guys Bar"). Justin and his pals-the nerdy Burski, the quirky Shelly, and the recently out-of-the-closet gay guy Brett-all have characteristics that make them appear "undateable." While Danny has a knack for getting women into bed, he is unable or unwilling to develop long-term relationships with any of them. Leslie, Danny's lovely sister, has similar concerns about being undateable due to the "baggage" of being a divorcee in her mid-30s.
