Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated is the eleventh iteration of the Scooby-Doo animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera. It is also the first iteration of the series that was not broadcast first on Saturday mornings. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network, and it made its debut in the United States on Cartoon Network on April 5, 2010. On July 12, 2010, the first episode of the series was repeated, and the following twelve episodes continued broadcasting on that day. The television show came to an end on April 5, 2013, after two seasons and fifty-two episodes, for a combined total of twenty-six episodes for each season. Mystery Incorporated goes back to the early days of Scooby and the gang, when they were still solving mysteries in their hometown, despite the fact that it makes many references to previous iterations of the franchise, not the least of which are numerous cases and creatures from the first Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! installment. A more tongue-in-cheek take on the classic Scooby-Doo formula is taken by the series as it progresses episode by episode. This is evidenced by the increasingly absurd technology, abilities, and scenarios that make up each villain's story, as well as the unique take on the famous "meddling kids" quote that is used at the conclusion of each episode. In stark contrast to this, however, are two aspects that have never before been included in a Scooby-Doo television series: a serial format with an ongoing story arc that includes many sinister plot elements that are handled with close to total seriousness, and ongoing relationship drama between the characters.
