Gintama
Aliens from outer space, the Amanto, have invaded Earth and taken over feudal Japan. As a result, swords are prohibited, and Japan's samurai are considered with contempt. Gintoki Sakata, on the other hand, still has the heart of a samurai, despite his love of sweets and profession as a yorozuya. Shinpachi Shimura, a boy with glasses and a strong heart, Kagura, with her umbrella and seemingly boundless stomach, and Sadaharu, their big pet dog, accompany him in his jack-of-all-trades line of business. Of course, these odd tasks are not always easy, as they frequently have run-ins with the police, ragtag rebels, and assassins, which sometimes results in amusing but disastrous outcomes.
