Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes

He was an aspiring politician, a favorite contractor in the area, and a part-time clown who worked for hire. John Wayne Gacy killed 33 young men between 1972 and 1976. In the quiet northwest suburbs of Chicago, most of his victims were found buried under his house where it was very peaceful. Fifty years later, DNA scientists are still trying to identify all of Gacy's victims. But thanks to 60 hours of unearthed audio between Gacy and his defense team, we now have a new look at the narcissistic mindset of the killer and a better understanding of how he was able to operate so freely for so long.
