Unthinkable

A Muslim convert sends the US government a videotape of himself in three unassuming storage rooms, each of which could hold a nuclear bomb slated to explode in less than a week. Helen Brody, an FBI agent in Los Angeles, is tasked with finding the bombs, while H, a CIA "consultant," interrogates the suspect who has let himself be arrested. The suspect, whose wife and children have abandoned him and vanished, appears to be well aware of the nature of the interview. Against H's increased pressure, including the use of torture despite Brody's objections, the suspect remains unconvinced. Will Brody agree if H commits the unthinkable? Is there any constitutional principle worth the risk of death?
