Jumping Jacks

Since his longtime partner Chick Allen enlisted in the military, nightclub entertainer Hap Smith has developed a new act. Hap is now a clownish caricature of a soldier, thanks to the assistance of his attractive new female partner. When Chick organizes a soldier exhibition at Fort Benning, he learns he needs his former partner's help—so, to get on the base, Hap impersonates a hapless actual soldier, but circumstances force them to extend the masquerade, producing an increasingly convoluted Army-sized SNAFU.
