Finding Forrester
Gus Van Sant portrays the story of Jamal, a young African American man who discovers his skills while living on the streets of the Bronx. He meets an ancient writer named Forrester by chance and learns his love of writing. Jamal wins a scholarship to a private school with the assistance of his new mentor.
