Ash Mayfair's rewriting of her critically acclaimed picture THE THIRD WIFE into a silent, black and white film results in a very different cinematic experience from the original. May, a fourteen-year-old Vietnamese girl, marries the third wife of a wealthy landowner in the late nineteenth century.
